Ms. Krista Attarian has been part of the Berea community for five years—first as a dedicated parent, and now as a passionate history teacher. Her classroom is a place where the past comes alive through collaborative projects, games, hands-on activities, and creative challenges. With a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a whole lot of heart, Ms. Krista makes history meaningful, memorable, and fun for her students.

Before joining the teaching team at Berea, Krista earned her Bachelor’s degree from Fontbonne University and served with Teach For America through AmeriCorps, teaching in the St. Louis Public School District. She later taught in a private school before stepping into the world of full-time homeschooling and running her own photography business.

In addition to teaching, Krista has served on Berea’s board since 2022, contributes to the fundraising committee, and manages the academy’s social media and marketing efforts. She and her husband Dustin have three sons—all proud Berea students—and she’s grateful every day to be part of such a vibrant and supportive community.
