| Sarah Clark Private Piano With a background steeped in music and a heart for nurturing young learners, Ms. Sarah brings both skill and encouragement to every piano lesson. Her teaching style is rooted in traditional instruction, but she tailors each lesson to meet the unique needs and interests of her students. The atmosphere in her studio is warm, supportive, and full of positivity—with plenty of stickers and fun incentives to keep motivation high and practice rewarding. Ms. Sarah holds a B.A. in History from the University of West Florida and grew up in a musical family where both her mom and sister were piano teachers and worship leaders. She herself studied piano for 10 years and violin for 15, and has played for churches, local orchestras, and weddings throughout her life. Her teaching journey began with her own children—four of whom she guided through private piano lessons. She and her husband, Bruce, have five wonderful children ranging in age from 5 to 20, and a very friendly (and ironically named) cat named Grumpy. When she’s not teaching or keeping up with her crew, she loves to cook and create in the kitchen. Ms. Sarah loves the caring, Christ-centered community at Berea and finds joy in teaching curious, engaged students who make every lesson a delight. |
