| Liana Muzik Merdian Private Piano Liana Muzik Merdian teaches private piano for children and adults in the St. Louis suburbs. She received her Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Oklahoma and Bachelor’s degree from the Wheaton College Conservatory. During her studies, she earned awards including the school-wide Provost’s Certificate with Distinction in Teaching, alternate in the state-wide OMTA piano competition, and semi-finalist in the OU Piano Concerto Competition. During her almost ten years of teaching experience, Liana has taught a wide range of students in different settings: Pre-K group music classes, private piano, and group and private piano courses for college undergraduates. She is deeply passionate about helping her students become lifelong, independent learners. She hopes that each of her students can be curious about the world around them and use the piano to grow as people. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and loves spending time hiking, playing pickleball, and reading. |
