Drawing, Figure and Form goes beyond the basics of drawing, focusing on proportion, shape, form, stature, and the other key components of figure drawing. This course emphasizes technique, providing students with a new way to adapt their style, skill, and interest in art.
A completed and framed original piece will be on display at the Spring Showcase, on May 9, 2025. Submitting a piece is required to complete the second semester.
Ms. Nikki’s “Older Students” art classes are available for grades 6th – 12th. Art class is a unique opportunity to explore the same ideas with students of different ages and skills. Classes have two components: a teaching session followed by a working session. During the work session, students often chat with one another or listen to the music Ms. Nikki has selected for the day. Ms. Nikki is sensitive to the needs of a mixed age range and manages the class with respect for all present
