A Program for Academics and Enrichment
Core Concepts offers continued growth and learning for students as they take more responsibility for their work, selves, and education. Students are stretching into more exciting, and sometimes more difficult, school work and hobbies. Core Concepts supports these students as they gather momentum in their education journey..

Ms. Nikki loves to work with music floating through the air in the classroom, giving students individual attention as they work through the lesson.
Krista Attarian has been a member of the Berea community for several years. Her children are a delightful part of our student body. After much prayer and discussion, Krista accepted God’s call to step into instructing history for Core Concepts! Ms. Krista maintains a remarkable balance of “no-nonsense” and “fun.” She has previously worked in busy child care centers and is an active volunteer with the children’s ministry in her church. Her unique approach to young people will pull them into a journey through America’s history.
Beth Mennemeyer has been part of Berea since its founding in 2017. Over the years, Beth has taught a wide variety of classes in different subjects and age groups. Beth knows that grammar, while not necessarily a popular subject, is a core building block for writing, literature, and more. Beth has taught grammar at Berea several times, in addition to using it in her home education plan.
Kyra Harriss is new with Berea for 2024/2025! She is an experienced educator with a focus in Elementary Education. Ms. Kyra’s work has included teaching First Grade, English, and writing.
