Diary of a Campus Liaison

You know what wasn’t in the job description? Dressing up as Junior Asparagus.

Hi, I’m Arianna! Many of you have probably seen my face by now, zapping your brain with a thermometer or finding your school supply bag. All that’s part of my job as a campus liaison- and this week, so is transforming into Junior Asparagus. Maybe you noticed that we have a bit of a theme on campus: one of the best kids shows ever, Veggie Tales. If you’re going to class, you might spot some of our teachers dressed up as Madame Blueberry and Bob the Tomato. You can even finally help Larry answer the question “where is my hairbrush?” to win a prize!

We’ve done a lot of crazy things at Berea, but our Veggie Tales antics are a new one. And it’s not the only new thing. We know that school has a lot of changes this year. During this stressful time, we’re all looking for some ways to tap into some joy. You can do that too! Give me your best dance moves as you come in the building (yes, even parents and high schoolers). Come up with a fun way to wave hello in the hallways. We’re just beginning an amazing year!
