Piano Lessons

Class day:
Wednesday or Thursday: 30 min sessions, scheduled individually
Materials: keyboard or piano at home, additional provided by teacher
Students must have access to a keyboard or piano to practice on 5-6 days per week. Students may focus on classical training, playing ‘by ear‘ / improvisation / theory, or a combination. Minimum age/grade limit is 8 years old/2nd grade unless a parent will accompany to lessons. No upper age limit; adults welcome. Students under age 10 may share a 30 minute lesson with a sibling.
Lessons include one-half hour of private instruction per week. Materials are recommended by the instructor and then purchased by families. For students who have taken lessons previously and have unfinished lesson books, we will use those if possible. Please bring books to the first lesson. For first time students, the teacher has sample books available at the first lesson to find the best fit. Once the books have been selected, parents will receive a link for recommended book purchase.
When enrolling for Piano lessons, look for the “I would like Piano Lessons” selection on form. You will be contacted by administration to schedule your specific time.

Cancellation/Reschedule/Refund Policy for all private music lessons:
Lesson pricing is based on $24.50 per lesson. Payment per lesson is not available. If the teacher or student must miss a lesson due to an illness that would keep him/her home from school and a virtual lesson is not possible, a makeup lesson can be scheduled. If a student will be absent for a previously planned family trip, please give at least two weeks notice in hopes that a makeup lesson may be scheduled. Rescheduling lessons for a planned absence may not be possible due to the limitations of building availability, teacher and student availability, and other factors. Refunds are not issued for planned absences. Rescheduling or refunds are not offered for a lesson missed due to arriving late, forgetfulness, or other reasons not specified above. If an illness or weather cancellation results in 3 or more lost lessons, a refund of each lesson after 2 grace losses will be issued.
This class is offered as an additional class in the Wonder and Explore program, Level Up! program, Core Concepts program, Junior High School students, High School students, and to Adults.
