Hannah Dierzbicki

Level Up and Core Concepts

Hannah Dierzbicki is joining the Berea community for 2024/2025, but she’s not a stranger! Hannah has enjoyed learning about Berea and our community through her nephews and sister, Krista Attarian.

Hannah has a wonderful set of experiences to bring to her classroom. Most recently, Hannah taught at St. Margaret of Scotland as an assistant to grades 2 and 4. She has also served in long term substitute positions. Hannah’s classes have ranged through Science and Language arts, in multiple grade levels. Additionally, Hannah has been an important part of church youth ministries and summer camp programs.

Hannah left the classroom behind as she worked through major life transitions, such as getting married and starting her own business. Like her sister Krista, Hannah is a successful photographer. Her teacher’s heart is longing for the classroom, though, and God is working through Berea to bring the classroom back to Hannah’s busy schedule.

Hannah is excited to step into science for Level Up and Core Concepts. Her focus for 2024/2025 is hands-on work to process the key topics/material with the students. Level Up will be working through Level 4 of a program called My Pals are Here! from Singapore Publishing. Core Concepts students are tackling the first two units of Level 5, Science from Purposeful Design Publishing. Both plans and programs create the space and time needed for in depth examination of the reading and concepts.

Hannah is also planning a Science Fair, open to all Berea students, in the Spring semester, 2025.
