Executive Director
Beth lives in Hoene Springs with her husband, Marc, and three children. Beth and her family started homeschooling as a temporary situation in 2009 – years and one high school graduate later, they remain committed to quality homeschool education. Beth operates her home education program on two core components: Mastery of Material and Excellence of Effort, and is focused on raising her children to become God-honoring effective adults. For the last few years, Beth has spent many hours helping others with home schooling challenges.
Beth started at Berea Academy in May, 2017. Judy Musick invited her to help plan fun community events. Those plans never quite came together, but the team building Berea saw Beth’s skill in management. As a parent, teacher, administrator, and general all around do-whatever-needs-to-be-done, Beth remains invested in the health and vision of Berea Academy.
When Judy Musick retired from Berea to relocate to Colorado, the governing Board of Directors asked Beth to step into the role of Executive Director. For the 22/23 school year, Beth will be leading the organization in the next phase of growth.
Beth has an Associate’s Degree in General Studies and Hotel and Restaurant Management. She enjoys reading, crafts, and slowly converting her tree-filled spot in the country into a permaculture oasis.
