Berea offers tutoring sessions for 30 minutes a session at $24.50 each. The purpose of Berea’s tutoring system is to provide individualized help to Berea families on a case by case basis. Tutors will work with the parents to understand tutoring goals, communicate needs between the tutor and family, and schedule tutor times.
Sessions must be purchased in advance before the scheduled tutoring. Purchased sessions will not be refunded. If a tutor must cancel or be replaced, Berea will provide a new tutor as soon as is reasonably possible.
Tutoring is not limited to students or to traditional academics. Other considerations could include a young person interested in learning a skill not currently offered formally at Berea, such as sewing by patterns. It can also include a parent seeking assistance with transcript preparation or record-keeping support.
